Green Roof Sedum Maintenance Service

Sedum roofs are low maintenance as they are drought resistant and can survive where other plants including weeds die. A biodiverse roof requires more maintenance however all green roofs require the following:

• Fertilising yearly to ensure the sedum has food
• Checking the sedums health to make sure it looks its best
• Taking cuttings from a good area to plant in a bear patch
• Removing any alien species to ensure the sedum gets priority

We have also seen sub standard green roof installs where not enough substrate has been used, the grown sedum is poor and is not established before going on a roof. If you green roof does not not look great then we can come in and sort out for you!

We also offer yearly and twice yearly (if a large install) maintenance visits to make sure your green roof are perfect.
