Our Environmental Commitment
We believe in creating beautiful, sustainable green roofs that benefit both people and the planet. Our sedum roofs help combat biodiversity loss, reduce urban heat, and support pollinator populations.
1. Sustainable Sourcing
All our sedum plants are 12-month matured and grown in Gloucestershire, UK. We use 16 varieties of sedum to maximize biodiversity and create thriving ecosystems on rooftops.
2. Carbon Offsetting
We offset our carbon footprint through Ecologi, contributing to reforestation and climate action projects worldwide.
Giving Back
We pledge to donate 5% of all sedum green roof sales to Rewild Britain, supporting their vital work in restoring UK habitats and wildlife.
The UK faces a biodiversity crisis, having lost significant natural habitat. Through our donations and the green roofs we install, we're actively working to reverse this trend.
3. Waste Reduction
We minimize waste in our operations by:
- Using recyclable packaging materials
- Optimizing delivery routes to reduce emissions
- Recycling all green waste from installations
- Choosing suppliers with strong environmental credentials
4. Biodiversity Support
Our sedum roofs are designed to support pollinators and other wildlife. The 16 varieties we use provide year-round flowering, creating vital habitats for bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects.
