Ordering Process

Placing an Order

• Orders can be placed directly through our website or by contacting our sales team.
• Once your order is submitted, you'll receive a confirmation email summarising your purchase.

Order Acceptance

• All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability.
• Sedum Roofs reserves the right to cancel or amend an order if a product is unavailable, pricing is incorrect, or other unforeseen circumstances occur.
• If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.

Pricing

• All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
• Delivery charges (£112 inc. VAT per pallet) are applied at checkout or confirmed after purchase.
• We reserve the right to update prices at any time.

Payment

• Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed.
• We accept major credit/debit cards and online payment methods offered at checkout.

Delivery

Delivery Method

• All orders are delivered kerbside on pallets via a trusted national pallet network.
• Customers must ensure suitable access for delivery vehicles (flat, hard surface).

Delivery Cost

£112 (including VAT) per pallet. The number of pallets is determined by your order size.

Delivery Times

• Deliveries are made Tuesday to Friday only.
• Standard delivery timeframe: Within 48 hours of placing your order (on available delivery days).
• We do not send orders over the weekend as sedum is a living product and cannot sit in a storage depot.
• For urgent deliveries, please email sedumroofsuk@gmail.com and we'll try to accommodate your request.
• We'll contact you once your order has been scheduled.

Responsibility

Once products have been delivered to your address, responsibility for their care and installation transfers to you.

Missed Deliveries

If a delivery attempt fails due to lack of access or no one being present to receive the order, re-delivery fees may apply.

Living Products

Sedum Roofs supplies perishable living products (e.g. sedum modules). Please note:

• Returns cannot be accepted for live sedum products once dispatched.
• You are responsible for installing and maintaining products promptly after delivery.
• We cannot accept liability for deterioration caused by delayed installation, weather conditions, or improper handling after delivery.

Returns & Refunds

Non-Living Products

• Returns for non-living products (e.g. edging, drainage layers) are accepted within 14 days if unused and in original packaging.
• Return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility.

Living Sedum Products

Living products are non-returnable except in cases of damage or incorrect delivery.

Excess Stock Returns

If you've ordered more product than needed, returns may be accepted under strict conditions:

1. You must email us within 24 hours of delivery to request a return
2. Products must be returned within 48 hours of delivery
3. Items must be in resaleable condition with original packaging intact
4. You must use a next-day delivery service at your own expense
5. Our team will inspect plants upon arrival to ensure they're suitable for resale
6. If approved, refunds will be issued within 5 working days

Returns received after 48 hours or in unsuitable condition will be refused.

Non-Refundable Items

• Delivery fees are non-refundable once dispatched.
• Custom or special orders cannot be returned.
• Items showing signs of use, installation, or deterioration.
• To request a return or report a damaged order, email sedumroofsuk@gmail.com within 48 hours of receiving your order.

Installation & Maintenance

• Sedum Roofs supplies products for DIY installation or professional fitting.
• We are not responsible for installation carried out by third parties.
• Installation guidance is provided as general advice only — customers are responsible for ensuring their roof structure is suitable and compliant with local building regulations.

Product Information & Suitability

• We make every effort to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate.
• However, as sedum is a living product, natural variation in colour, maturity, and coverage is expected.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring the product is suitable for their specific roof type and conditions.

If unsure, please contact our support team before ordering.

Privacy & Data

We respect your privacy. Personal data collected during checkout or contact forms is used solely to process and fulfill your order in line with our Privacy Policy.

Limitation of Liability

Sedum Roofs shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss;
• Delays or failure caused by events outside our control (e.g. weather, transport issues);
• Damage or deterioration due to incorrect storage, delayed installation, or misuse.

Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased.

Amendments

• We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
• Changes will apply to new orders from the date they are published.
